Good day,
This is an update to the weekly letter to inform you that we have not had 1 positive test result for COVID 19 in the building this week. All of the residents were testing, and all residents were negative for Covid 19. We will follow the CDC guidelines and test the residents on day 7 and day 14 to ensure compliance with the regulations.
To keep you updated on the facility Covid -19 status we will update this letter on our website when we get current information as it relates to Covid admission/newly dx residents.
New CMS guidelines are now stating that “up to date” vaccination is including the Covid vaccination booster.
We are continuing to offer the 2nd booster Covid vaccination for residents and staff. Physicians will order the vaccine for the residents that qualify.
New CMS guidelines are now requiring staff that does not have the Covid 19 booster vaccination to test according to the Wayne County positivity rates, currently we are still required to test 3 times per week.
With the new guidelines in place this also affects residents that are admitted to the facility that do not have the booster. The resident is now required to quarantine for 14 days following these guidelines.
We continue to follow all CDC guidelines, update policies & procedures and educate staff as changes occur. We will also continue to monitor anyone who enters the facility for known signs and symptoms of Covid-19 and will not allow anyone with symptoms to enter the facility.
We continue to encourage you to visit or call your loved ones, do telephone, video chat, window visits and inside visits to help maintain their emotional well-being and family connection. Please stop by the facility.
We will screen all visitors coming into the building for signs and symptoms of Covid 19. We will require you to sign a consent when entering the building and will offer you an education on how to safely wear and take off a face covering and how to protect yourself and others from Covid 19.
We continue to encourage staff and residents to receive the vaccination and offer education to help them with their decision. We will continue to offer all new staff and residents the Vaccination.
We are continuing Covid 19 vaccination booster shots. Following CDC guidelines, a booster will be offered to all residents and staff members that meet the guidelines.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in our facility. We truly appreciate you. Feel free to contact me any time at 734-729-4436.

As for a status update for Warren on COVID-19, we currently have an isolation unit for COVID-19 residents with 21 residents that are recovering, two are currently positive with COVID-19.
