All staff that tested positive have been taken off work to quarantine. Residents that tested positive have been placed on our isolation unit. Our isolation unit is sealed off from the rest of the facility and has dedicated staff to work that unit.

Resident safety is our top priority.  We are doing everything we can to ensure we stop the spread of COVID-19 within our facility including staying in close communication with local and state health officials to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps.

We understand that you may have questions and we encourage you to contact our center at 313-344-4100

To Our Residents and Family Members:

We want to inform you that we have received confirmation that a staff member at Samaritan has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee was working on our isolation unit with residents who are recovering from COVID-19. Our isolation unit is sealed off from the rest of the facility and has dedicated staff that work on that unit. Resident safety is our top priority. We are doing everything we can to ensure we stop the spread of COVID-19 within our Advantage Living Samaritan facility including staying in very close communication with local and state health officials to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps.

Designated staff members will be calling our residents representatives/ guardians for updates on the status of your loved one as well as the facility. We also understand that connecting with family members is incredibly important to our residents. Family members are encouraged to connect with their loved ones through Facetime, Skype, calling, texting or other social media formats.

We want you to know that we are taking every precaution to prevent the spread of infection. We know that you may have questions and we encourage you to contact our center at 313-344-4100.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

Don Barton
