Cumulative # of Residents/Staff who are COVID + in house today: 8

Reason for notification:

Updated notice:

New COVID+ resident or staff: Staff: 2 Residents: 8

3 or more residents or staff with new respiratory symptoms within 72 hours of one another: No

Mitigation strategies:

Facilities will continue to provide guidance (e.g., posted signs at entrances) about recommended actions for visitors who have a positive viral test for Covid-19, symptoms of covid-19, or have had close contact with someone with Covid-19. Visitors with confirmed Covid-19 infection or compatible symptoms should defer non-urgent in-person visitation until they meet CDC criteria for healthcare settings to end isolation. For visitors who had close contact with someone with Covid-19 infection, it is safest to defer non-urgent in person visitation until 10 days after their close contact if they meet criteria described in CDC healthcare guidance (e.g., cannot wear source control).

Reason for notification:

X - Weekly Update

Weekly Staff testing is ongoing and as the testing is done through the week all staff participate. In this week results we have not had any new COVID positive cases and this makes over one month without any positive cases.

Mitigation strategies: We have continued to update policies, procedures and educate staff per CDC guidelines. We have a dedicated isolation unit to utilize if any residents show symptoms of COVID-19. It is important to know that as a facility, we are not admitting any residents with active COVID symptoms or a current positive test. Therefore, our current resident population is all COVID negative.

Currently, we have adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We will continue to conduct rounds to assure PPE is used properly and we will continue to follow the “No Visitor” Executive Order from the Governor which remains in place until September 30th. Please note that while this current order extends to September 30th, we expect to have additional directives from the Governor’s Office and will keep everyone informed as to any changes. There has also been a recent release of additional conditions which need to be met for the facility to consider allowing visitors of any type. Therefore, we ask for your patience with us as we review this latest release and formulate a policy and procedure for any in person facility visitation. We will also continue to monitor anyone who enters the facility for known signs and symptoms of the COVID 19 virus and will not allow anyone with symptoms to enter the facility. Lastly…everyone stay healthy and safe, continue to follow social distancing guidelines, wearing your masks and please wash your hands frequently. It has been my pleasure to serve you and your family members.
